The 2025 auIGF was held in Adelaide and online over 23-24 September 2025, attracting more than 200 in-person and online attendees. The forum convened participants from government, industry, civil society, academia, private sector and the technical community.
The forum explored the theme “Global Visions, Local Impact: The Future of Australia's Digital Governance" focussing on informing Australian policy debates with regional and global internet governance challenges.
The final auIGF 2025 Program featured seven sessions, selected from 21 community proposals, covering the subthemes.
Video recordings, transcripts, and photos from the event are available below.
Two proposals published in advance of the auIGF reached consensus during the forum.
1. A proposal for a Social Contract on Digital Wellbeing
2. Updates to the 2024 auIGF Position Paper on WSIS+20.
Final outputs coming soon.
