auIGF 2026 was held at QT Canberra and online over 22-23 September 2026, bringing together participants from government, industry, civil society, academia and the technical community.
Under the theme “A resilient Internet for all Australians,” the forum explored the resilience of Australia’s Internet and the policy, technical and social issues shaping its future.
The auIGF 2026 program featured 12 sessions, alongside an opening plenary, townhall and closing plenary. Eight sessions were selected from 22 community proposals, with additional sessions led by the auDA Fellows, First Nations Fellows, NextGen Taskforce, and auIGF Multistakeholder Steering Committee (MSSC).

The 2026 auDA Fellows conducted research on multistakeholder legitimacy, network resilience, and middle power. The Fellows presented their research at the 2026 auIGF, and their abstracts are now available.
